Pilgrim Night

Pilgrim Night

A Poem by George Coombs
"

Another night piece

"

Pilgrim Night

slow breeze

moves among trees

lining the quiet road...

gentle beckoning

of branches...

occasional traffic...

above resplendent

among darkness the

moon anoints searching

eyes with shining

beauty in darkness greets

the quiet pilgrim...

draping rooftops

with cloak of

gentle light...

stillness...rest

then moving on

gentle as a

stream of life...
