FORGIVE ME

FORGIVE ME

A Poem by Gerald Akunyi
"

A sincere cry for mercy, a cry for forgiveness when one hurts a loved one and regretes it.

"
'''''' FORGIVE ME ''''''

I cant look into your eyes,
Cos I feel ur pains.
Like raindrops from the skies,
They strongly hit the brains.

Let not thy anger brew,
But let your pity rise.
Let not my wrongings queue,
but let your mercy guise.

Wish I could turn back the hands of time,
And make my wrongs right.
To see ur heart give the rhyme,
And blow away my nights.

Let the rainbows leave the skies,
But not me leave your heart.
Let the body loose its size,
but not thy love a part.

Let thy wounds know the balm,
And thy smile a glee.
Very sorry I am,
Please forgive me.
