Silence

Silence

A Poem by Jeffrey Gershom

Silence

By J.M.Gershom

They say there is no

Sound in the vacuum of space.

An eternal muteness surrounds

Time.

No ticking,

No tocking.

The Big Bang

Was a flash.

Light.

The universe has no ears.

No crying from new born

Stars.

No sighing from the ones

Dying.

The universe cannot hear

My cries of love,

My calling for belonging.

It knows though,

The inner energy within

My heart,

My mind.

Share with me your energy,

Then we will be one.

The heart and mind are universes within themselves. The universe knows. Good poem J.M.

Very good. It flows together nicely and has a nice feel of energy to it, ( if that makes any sense! ). It's a great poem. Nice job :)

Groovy rhythm to this, the idea of melding energetic forces to become one dynamic life is great!

Hmmm well this is different to be sure I like the idea of us being a part of the bigger picture. We are not very big in the scheme of things .But we dream large
