When I was a child

When I was a child

A Poem by Benita-Staebell M - KindredPoet
"

some of my Memories written May 9 2014 Lets explore and be a child again I am a child at heart open up your imaginations.

"

When I was little all

my imaginations came to life.

We built forts of blankets  and

imagined what ever

we wanted it to be.

Story books of where the

wild things are books

of Disney Winnie the

pooh bear.

Momma you  read

stories of magical Knights

and brought it to life you filled

my childhood with joy.

You made the funny

voices to the characters

in the story books.

Dancing through the

wet grass that tickled  my

toes and made me giggle.

Swinging on the tire

swing in my back yard.

When I was a child I had

beautiful blessings from

God he's filled my life with,

Laughter, tears  joy and

even pains I've  healed from.

Playing in the mud

with my big  brother

making a mud home  for

the frogs in our back yard.

Bottoms of my feet  were

black as the blacktops.

Just playing in the rain

and jumping in the muddy

puddles Mommy didn't  get mad.

That reminds me my school days in just other ways... I was a pain to my teachers and the only story listener to my grandma...
But this selfish time took away all the blessings of childhood and fossilized as a memory in my mind.. Its alright. Life goes on... :)
Nice write once again. Blessings and wishes.

I love this poem. I miss when I used to be younger and everything was simple. All that mattered was seeing your friends and watching your favorite tv show. When you still were read to before you went to bed. Beautiful write!
