she was his Morning and Night

she was his Morning and Night

A Poem by Benita-Staebell M - KindredPoet
"

I am the woman in the poem I look Lebanese I've been told I am exotic to my husband and look it.

"
She was his morning
kiss sweet smiling
sunshine,

She is his mysterious
exotic night with caramel
golden eyes of
a Lebanese princess.

As the middle eastern y
sunsets lovers know
the romantic rains
to be danced in.

She's the nights day
a exotic beauty,

But not
something
she always
sees.

Beautiful is the heart
mind and soul
when it's tarnished
where has
this beauty
going to?

His morning kiss exotic
princess curvy as the
eastern Sun's
beautiful as the Arabian nights.

She was his wife
laughter like the
silent sunshine.

I am the woman in this poem
I look Lebanese I look exotic
But I love the middle east like
Lebanon I was raised
around the Lebanese culture
I am also mixed even
though my race is white if one
looks I don't look like every
other white girl.

On my Mothers side there's Cherokee French Spanish Scottish German.
On my father's side there's Irish German British French Canadian Cherokee.

My Great Great grandparents came from Germany
Then my other Great Great grandparents came from France

I look like my Dads fathers mother
I've been told she was a beautiful ballerina
Full blooded Irish I am very proud of
all my roots I've been told my voice sounds
Young or Canadian
it is very soft Mellow
calm soothing and yes sounds
very young and sexy to some
I am very mellow peaceful chill soul
not much bothers me.

I am not sure what a Lebanese looks like, but from your description, you surely are beautiful and these verses attest to it. :D

you are welcome benita
Nice piece and as it is about you and you state that poems are a personal expression and that is truly what I see here. I feel the positive about beauty, but also I hear the self doubt. Very nice.
