Windless

Windless

A Poem by Gillian

Enthusiasm dwindles

Like a kite in still air,

Tumbling down with swoops of stealth

And effortless soars of ease,

Diving through a surreptitious brevity

To fall flat at a charmless end.

Huh.
Captivating, and though enthusiasm's end might not be, rather charming. Easy and beautiful to read, with a sad, lackluster truth about it. Much loved. 100%

Are you saying that some guy took the wind
out of your sails ?
Sorry about that.

You have an exceptional command of the language.
The arrangement of your poem shows talent and
imagination.

Thank you for this nice creation.
