His Majesty's Service

Nurse,
Quick!
I think we're losing him.

Then let us tuck him in
In layers of love.
And bring him lots of warm
Cups of cuddles.
On the telly, switch to some
Get well watching.
And don't forget to mop his brow
With a kind cloth of caring.

Don't worry, petal,
I'll get you better.
I have one final thing:
These medicated kisses
Will work through your body,
And you'll be right as rain
In no time.

And remember, should you need me...
All you have to do is ask,
And I'll come running
To be at your side
With my helpful hands of healing.

About
Things I have realised: My mother really is the best friend I'll ever have. Too much alcohol causes some people to be something they aren't, and that includes myself. That love, no matter wha.. more..
