ParamourA Poem by WizardsAfflictionA random poem scrawled down during English Composition II class. Hope you enjoy!
She's a secret whispered,
tainted by her truth uncovered. A man so penniless found gold to offer, ounce for ounce, and dressed her in perfection. But she dabbled in flaws, drank by the gallon till she found herself floating between sheets. He cried and showed her the tears, lines spoken on his face, trails of red deemed miserable's best. And at last she drifted, out to open sea, as she laid on the shoreline of her own island, begging the skies for his return.
