Alasas Road

Alasas Road

A Chapter by Glen Yumang Manese

Alasas Road

Divinity has long parted this desolate.

Devil waits patiently in the wings.

Purgatory’s flame will not forgive.

Soap opera has gone in the makings.

Film solidifies no more negatives.

Actors & actresses come forth.

Profound events real & elicit.

Sun will endure to set the stage.

Moon will in turn light up the scene.

Eye-witness this bad blood drama.

Alternative motives cast despair.

Domestic breaks into shrapnel.

Who will stand-alone in the end?

Observe remoteness on Alasas road.

Shepard tends to his piggery flock.

Land poisoned by greed & obstinacy.

He has many of his disciples.

Rascal hounds guard over him.

Children he has reared like his own.

Protective of those who would do harm.

His walls are fragile barbed wire fences.

Do not keep away squatters.

Who claim nothing for nothing?

Build dweller homes of brick & mortar.

Put up for sale signs to something.

Engage in spite of no legal writing.

Big brother has his own deeds.

Little sister deceives him of rights.

Love triangle grows into hatred.

Length hangs on for moral actions.

Ground contains a slow poison seeps.

Each protects a certain reign of the land.

A hen nestles her golden eggs do not hatch.

Roosters engage in battle of impasse.

Audience looks on in the reserve.

Day or night the encircle mass of trinity.

Gather like lost children without recitation.

Time plays the ultimate test for victory.

Defeatist lies stripped in all of them.

Suffer knows better than most will succeed.

Pride cannot deem mercy for a fallible.

Deed controls their hearts consume.

Greed acts as a noble Esquire for tribute.

Magazine is worthy of their own.

Plotting thoughts of which direction.

Abomination take matters far-fetched.

Tension strung with a three-headed beast.

Strangles tightly against their décolletages.

Righteous fathered by one with two geese.

Nonetheless severance ends this dispute.

Mothers of this clan gave birth a disease.

Sickness not forgiving with a simple antidote.

Cower back into their place of homage.

Idol images stare with dreadful disbelief.

Religion copes a moment’s contemplation.

Vindication buries truth within sequester.

Semesters halt forward progression.

Destination knows not Alasas Road.

Gavel of justice is blinded at this juncture.

Procedure not fit even for legitimate court.

Distorted minds play Russian roulette.

Inset alternative bullet in the chamber.

Dangerous game for blood money.

Contrary a sacrificial lamb comes forth.

Worthy a challenge survives this epidemic.

Inflict wound gives dark horse takes all.

Befall a tenure when divided by malice.

Chalice slowly sips the vine of vehement.

Resentment carries on after the toil.

Spoils not won by one’s grave beneath.

Filth goes where once came to rest.

Attest by the sanctions of battle.

Settle nothing - even spirits have rights.

Plight their images still haunt this curse.

Purse gains even more in the afterlife.

Strife does not leave such realm.

Elms rise to circumstance of such dread.

Fed by the fuel of desire called deceit.

Complete a task fit for the expletive.

Vindictive a life of chaos does satisfy.

Deny nothing a cancerous tumor.

Rumors with ears wide open do listen.

Glisten like an afternoon Sol welcome.

Lonesome like a night does clamor.

Adore oblivion for the cost of delight.

Insight shadows lurk in the void.

Avoid for now - ticking of the clock.

Lock the doors of fortune do avail.

Fail in due time comes like a thief.

Belief cares not to engage or dismantle.

Entitle the reigns of conceivable cossets.

Sets into pace the testimony of lineage.

Age defy the youth of mutual cohesion.

Accusation not fit for the annex of peace.

Cease existence folly off to others leisure.

Assure lost is gain in affliction of captivity.

Divinity cast-off to the winds of nil.

Ill feeble consequences not pursue.

Few gain balance in the end of ends.

Defend only acts to those inept.

you have incorporated almost all the major aspect we faced in life. The roads we take, we lose our innocence bit by bits as we go through each cross roads. We lose ourselves and gain something back.. We become lost and be found again. We become broken and be fixed along the way... as long as we take the road, faced it and live it, i think we are all good... well verse, my friend...
