Verse 36: Expressively, Speaking

A Chapter by Glen Yumang Manese

Expressively, Speaking

Expressively, speaking this grandeur will end in two weeks.

Fallible are my actions that persistence will get the upper-hand.

Digging too deep is my ground.

Simplicity has always been my weaker enemy.

Abstract is a sound that echoes.

We’ve been together for decades.

Figuring out that this artwork is unfinished.

Even for a lifetime more.

My voice carries these thoughts to you and only you.

Until, we meet again and again in this circle.

No one can invade where there are no entry signs or exit signs.

Enveloped are a seal and the signature marked in DNA.

My blood mixes with my negative.

Positively is not a denial.

Undying is the portrait in defining love has many lines.

Yet, discovered is in this journey with you.
