Rolling on a cloud of dread.A Poem by Jeremia11-14-12 all comments welcomed.Another day drifts in Rolling on a cloud of dread The darkness of a fallen world surrounds me Encasing me in a smog like substance Causing my lungs to cry out in protest
As if my lungs were filled with lead Weighing me down as I lie in bed Motivation to even roll over escapes me Further the cloud rolls Blinding my eyes from seeing
I pull the blanket over my head In an attempt to escape the thickening smog If I shut my eyes and squeeze real hard I can push this from my mind It doesn’t work
Another day drifts in Rolling on a cloud of dread As if my lungs were filled with lead Weighing me down as I lie in bed I pull the blanket over my head Part of me, wishing I was dead © 2013 JeremiaReviews
