Brandishing Resentment

Brandishing Resentment

A Poem by Jeremia
"

Parts of it from 8-7-11 most of it 11-14-12. Personally I think the 2nd and 3rd stanza should be taken out. Thoughts?

"

Hatred in my sheath

Resentment as my shield

Bitterness as my guide

I walk through the world

Here it comes, bubbling up

Expanding into every crevice

Boiling as it flows

Tensing every fiber of my being

Overflowing rage

Destruction follows

My mind consumed with hostility

Narrowing my vision

Torn between a love lost

And a dream not long forgotten

Desires crippling

Piercing my flesh

I stagger on

Fueled by anger

Gripping hatred tight

Brandishing resentment

About
Well, my name is Jeremia. I honestly don't believe I have much skill in writing, but I find it entertaining when I am able to crank out a poem and/or story. So my desire is to write and then get feedb.. more..
