Just Another Day

Just Another Day

A Poem by GoldCrypts
"

After all of the violence of school shooting's, especially the one right down the road from my campus at Akron, I decided to write this one to show what is probably going through a student's mind.

"
It's just another day
to be walking
down the hall.

Listening to other's conversations,
looking down,
then at the wall.

You can see the holes.

Right?

I'm not the only one.

Right?

The images flying through my head,
the yelling, the screaming,
then the silence.

It's killer, I do not know what is worse.
The physical violence,
or the emotional, mental, and political violence.

Maybe, just maybe,
one day it will be fine
and it'll end.

But until then,
tomorrow is just another day,
then just have to wait for the day to end.
