Giving Thanks

We all give thanks on this wondrous day,

for all the big things that come our way, 

but what we still need to remember

on this day in November

the tiny things whenever

the laptop you do homework on

the man who does your front lawn

the cheesecake in the fridge 

the cookies you love just a smidge

the kisses your mother gives you

whenever your feeling blue

 Its the tiny things we never remember 

on this cold day in November

that make us wish we were better.
