Who Leads The Way

Do you believe in God?

I don't mean in the terms of religions

they are messed up doctrines

invented by humans

for humans

that seem to create more division

I mean when you look around

and see all the amazing things in this world

what is the true explanation

the living beings

the stars

the universe

and so much more that we can't even

begin to imagine or understand

but along with all the amazing things

there is horror, terror, fear and tears

these things are just as real

as the ground we walk upon

who leads the way out of this world

this world that becomes more painful

everyday

who leads the way to peace

tranquility

acceptance

of each other

We must still believe in God

a God

that will fill our inner souls

with trust

with hope

not a building

not a church

not what some other human tells us

like they really know the answer

they don't know s**t

it is their own way of coping

with the insanity

but without this

hope

trust

how can we deliver the message

on our next journey

our return

to the stars
