Now, what was it?

Now, what was it?

A Poem by Gomer LePoet
"

remembering what I almost forgot - not

"
Now, what was it?

There was something on my mind
it's been there now for oh so long
sometimes I forget just who am I

as days and weeks pass I come to find
it was more than just a sweet song
I can breathe your essence passing by

the image of you behind the desk
that smile so very full of love
blushing like a young school girl

so sexy though casually dressed
in the one fleet moment I heard a doves
whisper sending me a whirl

no I'll not forget until I die
these thoughts they still linger by
every day and night I smile and cry
