The Enemy Within

I am my biggest supporter

I am my worst detractor

I am my own best friend

I have been my own worst enemy

I am capable of incredible wonder

I too often create my own disaster

I am often a tender lover

I can be as cold as solid ice

I am kind and forgiving

I can be selfish and unrelenting

I can write words of wisdom

I sometimes say things barbaric

I am human

I am the enemy within
