The Very Last One

The Very Last One

A Poem by Laura Grace

A sliver of light.
The last bit of bright.
The one that's holding on tight
To the time that took flight.

Also, I hadn't posted anything in a super long time so my inspiration for this was kind of weak. That's why the poem is so short and really pretty meaningless. If you own a macbook or macbook pro you'll realize there's a little sliver of light on the front side that sort of glows and dims. Well, I was on my sister's macbook writing poetry and I saw that and I immediately became entranced by it.

Memories of a joyous day, as the fading sunsets and reflects upon the silver hand of a grandfather clock, ticking away. It speaks of memories and the walk upon the road of the moments past. Beautiful imagery!

About
Everything here is pretty self-explanatory. I used to be under the display name Graci but I've kind of outgrown that name. Sorry if that's a cause of confusion. more..
