With angels

Poets of the fall - Late goodbye . I made this poetry for my dad that i lost when i was 7 years , even if i was a kid when i lost him i remember all the things i did with him , i love you dad

  With angels

       I am here alone , in the dark

       Dreams and desires

       I am thinkig about the past

       When i was young and you were here

       Now i'm alone and you are gone

       I fell so sad , so sad

       Now you are up there

       In to the sky

       With angels , with angels

       Now you are up there

       In to the sky

       With angels

       You were the best

       You made me like this

       You made me strong

       But it was a long time

       Even if i cry now or sream

       You can't come back

       

       Now you are up there

       In to the sky

       With angels , with angels

       Now you are up there

       In to the sky

       With angels

   

       I know you hear me

       And i know you see me

       11 years since you left

       Passed so slowly

       But it's ok for me 

       Cuz i know you're there

the repetition in this piece is very compelling and enforces the loss which you are feeling...quite brilliant. i lost my Father about 5 years ago and this write really touched a part of me that few have in the past. i am very fond of this poem.

Good to know our loved ones are still with us. Good read and write with just a few adjustments, capitalize i and add a c to scream. Also, just "in the sky" instead of in to.
