Footsteps

Footsteps

A Poem by GuardianZack

Life, such a strain
Can't call the doc 'cause they no cure for the pain
A maze of distractions, nowhere to turn
Alice, down the rabbit hole, watch the last daylight burn
Out, snuffed, like the last dying candle
Broke the chain, downhill with no breaks and no handles
A moment that won't last, pull over, goin' too fast
Back it up like Zelda, got A Link to the Past
Find the last glimmer of hope, and hold on tight
Step into the ring, hit the bell, time to fight that good fight
Stand up to the shadows, in the face of all fears
Reformat, wipe it clean, they ain't no time for no tears
The end of the planet is near, Superman save us
Government march on the people, devastation, no trust
Death of freedom, lost, hope tough to find
Where's Waldo? Change the flow, hit the button, rewind
The world is unkind, no rest for the mind, but we only go stronger
Leave the hatred behind, like A Wrinkle in Time
And the world will last longer, humanity pre-defined

Tolerance is key, room to breathe

Unlock the future of mankind.

About
Humanity as a whole seems to be falling apart. We live in a world where people generally just don't care anymore. People always see the need for change, but never do anything about it; Change has to b.. more..
