Stardust

Stardust

A Poem by Giulia King

She takes a deep breath and sighs. "Oh darling"
She whispers into the darkness.
"If our souls are made out of stardust, then how come my skin feels like a desert?"
The depths of her soul lives in poetry,
in a in-between world with him.
"You're the brightness of a star,
The magic in my life."
"You're the only secret my heart guards."
She says as she gently puts her arms around him and blissfully drifts off into infinity.

The pic and poetry are so perfectly matched. This vibrates at an almost eerie frequency, the line about the skin like a desert lends a weird reality to it as the other lines are all fabulously supernatural. Great writing.

I was going for that relaxed romantic feel :) Thank you for reading!
Love can do that to you. A cataclysmic burst of the universe cannot contain the depth, the broad expanse of the love you wish to share with him and hope he wishes to share his with you. I like what you have to say.

Sorry for the delay here, Dave. Thank you for your review :)
Very intimate and tender.

The cosmic vastness and distance of stars wrapped around her loving embrace.

Thank you for your lovely review :)
There is such a sacred transcendence in this loving, the universe rising to echo each sigh. It made me feel the deep vibrations that rise between twin flame lovers. Profound, infinite magic.

Yes, there IS magyk in the world and within ...us. And we touch it when we find ways we interact and give voice to what WE as individuals feel so that a separate someone understands. You did that here.
