Stardust

Stardust

A Poem by Giullia King

She takes a deep breath and sighs. "Oh darling"
She whispers into the darkness.
"If our souls are made out of stardust, then how come my skin feels like a desert?"
The depths of her soul lives in poetry,
in a in-between world with him.
"You're the brightness of a star,
The magic in my life."
"You're the only secret my heart guards."
She says as she gently puts her arms around him and blissfully drifts off into infinity.

Another lovely snippet of romance, Gullia, I see a pattern developing, which is not a bad thing, a slim volume of romance for a quiet evening. Just a thought.

"You're the only secret my heart guards."

Just loved this line. The whole thing is really breath taking.. And the ending, a perfect one!

"in a in-between world with him."
Should be 'an' instead of 'a'...

I loved the pic this time 😉😊
Great work, Gullia! My favourite 😊
