A Yearning to CaressA Poem by CodyThis is another love poem - free verse.A yearning to caress And all I’ll do is confess After we’d undressed And we’ve forgot all our distress Without you I’m a mess
Sometimes I feel like I am dumb Smacking on my little stick of gum Thinking about his bum And smiling at his hum You make my heart a drum
The boy of which I’d wrote All of my lovely notes Oh boy he makes me float If he asked, I’d say “totes” To sail on his boat
To sit with him on grass of green As we sit and lean and lean With my hand upon his jean And his smells that’s oh-so-clean I know for sure he’s not that mean
My fingers in his hair And eyes light up with flare If only I could dare To sit with him on his chair And feel his soft and happy glare
A yearning to caress And smiling at his hum Oh boy he makes me float With my hand upon his jean And eyes lit up with flare © 2014 CodyAuthor's Note
