In the darkness...hear the warcries...

In the Darkness
The Gloom of the Shadows
Hear the Warcries
The Doom that Bellows

The Stars have fallen
Away from the Sky
And the Earth in her Wrath
Has burnt All, and stands By

'Let the Doom of Men befall,
Beg Mercy and Love
All ye who Hear
From the One Above

That this may come as
A lesson unto all
That I, the Lord
Am Greatest of All'

This is a very nice poem. It is well phrased, which elevates it above the common fare on WC. If this was not intensional, then you have a natural knack for the poetic form. And if intentional, my hat's off to you. Very well done. We may differ philosophically, but I cannot deny the grace of this poem.

I really like writing that has a kind of a flow, which 'I am the Greatest' had.
I would show the lines that I thought were the best, but then I would be repeating the whole poem.
