Kindred Soul

Kindred Soul

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

"Two souls passing in the late night"

"

I love the darkness
the quietness
dim and still...

I love driving at night
slowly, calmly
a gentle thrill...

The world is asleep
feels like mine
don't wanna go home...

I pass another driving
and realize
I passed a kindred soul.

Sometime the darkness can feel like a safe space to go with the quietness.. And there are others out there who feel the same way... Thanks for sharing the nice poem

thank you for reading and commenting.
How true.
I work a lot at night and often find myself driving alone through the dark lonely night.
Lovely poetry.
