I Won't Give Up

I Won't Give Up

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

'Someone slipping away due to addiction of some type'

"

When the world was against me,
you were by my side.

You pulled me out of darkness,
when I just wanted to hide.

Holding my hand while driving,
you never let me go...

even when I couldn't see you,
I could feel you in my soul.

Now at times you slip...
for reasons beyond our own.

Forces of darkness fall upon us...
A power so bad, so strong.

I cannot lose you to it...
I will not lose you that way...

Even if my love,
can't make it go away...

I won't give up.
