Alive

Alive

A Poem by Gypsy Dreamer
"

Awakening from fear painfully yet invigorating.

"
Ruby lips pursing lightly together...
far away eyes staring intent.
Breathing shallow for today...
this lady is discontent.

Frozen thoughts cannot feel...
emotions closed vault tight.
Ironing board awaits lukewarm...
to lay upon this night.

Iron red hot pressing down...
can feel the heated rush.
Awakening senses left to drown...
when all said to hush.

I'm alive! I'm alive!
I scream in pain so real.
I refuse to lay down and die...
I laugh for now I feel.

Such strong and beautiful language in this poem. Each set of lines telling a story. Poem connected together with a powerful story. I like the positive ending. You are a very good writer. A outstanding poem.
