A Poem by Ronda

This is about our new puppy that my 7 year old daughter adores.

He runs through the hall,

flopping ears and wet tongue.

So tiny and cute and

chewing on my thumb!

We like to be creative

and play hide and seek.

But then I find him

chewing on my books!  Eeek!

He loves to play

dress up with me, too.

Except for when he's

chewing on my shoe.

Sometimes we like

to play a game of chase

But he gets distracted

chewing on my guitar case!

I guess that's why

Chewy is his name.

My mama knew he

would do the same.

This sound so charming as I know chewy must be a he. I like the way the poem flows and captures my heart. I can't help wonder how old he is, and when he's snacking on your guitar case what music you're singing. I like it, and it seems as if it will appeal to all ages. Nice write.
