I Love You More Than Yesterday

Each morning when I wake up to

Sweet wonderful and perfect you,

I kiss you on the lips and say

"I love you more than yesterday."

And as you look back with those eyes

That marry sleep with mild surprise,

You gently smile and say my name

To let me know you feel the same.
