The Most Amazing Moment

My very first hug from the guy I've totally fallen for:):)

All day Easter Sunday I watched you

I thought about you constantly

All my thoughts were filled with you

an how I wanted so bad to

just go talk to you already

but of course I was just my usual shy self

not saying more then

4 or 6 words to you at once

Why couldn't I just get over it and

talk to you like any other person?

Probably because you're more then just

'any other person' to me

 

Then that wonderful evening

you watched me as the other guy hugged me

I know you don't think I saw it

but I really did

then you watched as I hugged all the girls

Now you were ready for one of your own

I noticed in the corner of my eye as you got up

my heart started pounding

then over my shoulder someone said something to me

I turned to answer first

giving me a chance to relax a bit

I can't even remember what she asked

or even what I answered

all I know is the amazing guy standing next to me

waiting for that first hug

Then I turned back to you

an everyone else in the room vanished

 

You folded your long arms around me

in the most amazing way

my heart completely melted

I held on to you for that one hug

an wished I could just stay there an

never have to leave

then you and I both let go

I looked up at you an said,

wow you're tall

 

For about 2 days after

my cheek is still tingling were your warm cheek touched mine

my heart still pounds thinking about it

Don't mind the grammer or the way it's written. It wasn't meant to rhyme or anything. Just puttin my feelings out there:) Tell me what you think though. I'll edit it if I remember more of this special moment:)

You conveyed that momebnt perfectly and I see no grammar and or spelling errors when I read a piece like this. I appreciate raw emotion and to me there is no better way to relate it than to just put it on paper as it is and let the reader find their way through it with that same raw edge that you first felt, even if that edge; is smooth and crisp and clean, such as this feels to me!
