Operator?

Operator?

A Poem by Holly Mason

Press 1 if you would like to pay.
Press 2 if you would like to report payment.
Press 3 if you would like to hear again.
Where is the number you push for a human?
The pound symbol- no that repeats the menu.
The zero that should do it-no wait number not accepted.
Where is the operator?
Busy,busy,busy.
Learning computer skills for a new job.

This is one of my biggest peeves, Holly. I just want a human on the phone, preferably...a human that speaks the same language as me, too. Makes me want to beat the crap outta my poor phone! Angi~

"operator, won't you help me place this call? "

thank you little princess...laughter is good no it's gggrrreat!
In this modern world human contact is a thing of the past, no wonder social skills are declining.
A great tongue in cheek look at the situation,

thank you much for reading
A lady came into my work a few months back and inquired about an item we no longer carried. I advised her to check online and she was instantly furious. "You should be careful saying that" she said redfaced. Enough people go online and you wont have a job. I agreed... but I secretly buy and sell on Ebay! You are right, modern technology is stripping us of emotional communication. Miles away, our id lusting for a prime connection. Text messaging ruined a relationship of mine, and your right, modern day customer service is labyrinthine.
