In my Irish Eyes
You see pain and triumph
You see sadness and loneliness
You see happiness and frustration.

My Irish Eyes are portals to my soul
They have seen life and death
They have seen strength and weakness
They have seen love and hatred

My Irish Eyes show my personality
They show stubbornness and determination in all things
They show kindness and caring above all
They show fire and passion of a thousand suns.

In Irish Eyes all things are revealed because
Irish Eyes are a path to a persons soul
Irish Eyes hold tons of secrets, usually mischief
Irish Eyes show emotions and thoughts that have been deeply hidden.

Irish Eyes are eerie because they seem to
Show the entire past of Ireland,
Full of pain and suffering
Full of destruction and loss.

Irish Eyes hold so many secrets
Irish Eyes show the tides of history
Irish Eyes are mesmerizing and beautiful
Irish Eyes draw us in.

Irish Eyes seem to have supernatural powers
Irish Eyes see into your soul
Irish Eyes capture you heart
Irish Eyes always seem to smile.

Irish Eyes are simply incredible!
