mediocre

mediocre

A Poem by Half_Lifes
"

Part one

"
Relativity labels me mediocre

If it wasn't for these sliding scales maybe I could finally gain some satisfaction
Instead of spinning plates
The constant effort of maintaining motion amplifies the inevitable crash
When they fall
Causing The cracks to run deeper than they did before

If everyone is special then no one really is

My own worst enemy
Fighting against myself
So that even when I win,
I lose.
