Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by Halle Zebrowski
"

An acrostic poem I thought of on the spot. Was never the best at these, but still worth the effort. Hope you like it.

"
Don't fear it, it's only temporary.
All of us experience it, but only makes the light times feel all that much better.
Right now it might hurt, but it's making you stronger for the future.
Know that even the happiest people experience darkness at one point in their life.
Now might be dark, but tomorrow could be light. Don't lose hope.
Eyes we have to see darkness physically, but not mentally.
See that you're not alone when feeling darkness.
See the lightness coming soon. You will get through it...

Is it too repetitive?

Very beautifull. I like how you have correctly written about darkness.

You did very well. Using the structure and the words held questions and meaning. I liked the flow of the thoughts leading to hopeful ending. Thank you Halle for sharing the excellent poetry.

Cool acronym...the poetic meaning behind the acronym was uplifting and inspirational...it didn't sound repetitive...a strong showing for a style that you felt underwhelmed in...nicely done.
