Reflections on Double Meaning

Reflections on Double Meaning

A Poem by Marc Hamel
"

To the other being who is my being

"
Totally other and yet the same,
let me not muddy the waters of my soul,
that i may reflect upon you as quickly
as a face reflects in still water.
With delicate accuracy let me assume
your features, your being from my angle!

You and i fight, i was wrong.
You are kind, see my tears and have mercy,
you spoil me, become my flesh!
You are the best me there is,
giving all to me, how can i not respond?
Giving my all to you. It is my nature.
I change. The best of myself.
One momentary reflection of an ever changing paradox.
