That Smile On Your Face

That Smile On Your Face

A Poem by Hidden Happiness
"

To our darling mothers

"
Mother...what can i say?
I wonder how God could create somebody like her?
Somebody so filled with love,
And kindness that showers one with bliss.
And someone to hold your hand when you're alone
And when you are in fear
And she would bear it all,
The pain that you cause her
With a beautiful smile on her face.

Tell me mother, did God ever teach you how to be cruel
Maybe He forgot
And now you stand by me even if I'm a murderer
Even if I am as ungrateful as to take your life
But then again, you face it all
"Do it if it pleases you" you say
In that kind voice of yours.

All my life you hold my hand
And guide me to the right path
But when your old, I leave you alone
"You're interfering too much" i say
"Anything for you" you say
Tears in your eyes but a smile on your face.

Author's Note

Hidden Happiness
Happy mothers day to all the beautiful mothers in this world. A very very little piece of appreciation for all the things that you sacrificed and that you did for your children.

Its true, they do so much and then from time to time, we throw it back in their face, but you did a great job of putting into words how much they give up for us. great job! :)
