Darkness

Darkness

A Poem by Hasan Hersi

There is no escape from the black cloud inside all
The doors are there to grant safety from the shadows in our inner hall
We look and we see the abyss, the nothingness and the darkness within
What if there is no light, what if it has forsaken due to sin
Groping we try and find hope but use is that if it lives inside
You cannot run to illusion as it is always there, it waits to hide
Courage will fail
Bravery will sail
In us all is the fear of being left alone with the truth
There is no veil when you look inside, nothing to soothe
It is part of us and we are part of it
It will endure through the passing of time and will remain as long as it sees fit

I like it, I think instead of 'Groping' you should use grasping, and there should be a what before 'use' in that line, good though :)

Lovely feel to this piece and I respect the way you use words so much. Thank you
