The Cloud

The Cloud

A Poem by Haunzwürthe
"

#1 during a few hours at the beach.

"

Beyond that deceptively straight

line of sky and sea

lives a cloud.

Tall and massive

it rises to majestic heights

sending artist's wisps along its top

to distances unknown.

Undoubtedly,

rough waters rage beneath it,

a dark and perilous storm.

Though from where I sit on the shore,

it is beautiful.

There's always two sides to everything isn't there? Observation is the key to our perception. Daydreaming is just believing....and our reality is what gets seen and felt by our five senses. Maybe that's why the artist can colour the sky pink...turn the ocean's grey...we witness life through our mind's eye.

It's like that saying, "Ignorance is bliss" even though it really isn't. I enjoyed your poem. It's very...real. That's the best word I can think of:b
