A Poem by Beautifully_Anarchist

for those who've had their hearts broken and their heads messed with by a professional

I didn’t know someone could be so perfect, so hateful,

I didn’t know someone could be so cold, so beautiful,

I didn’t know when you meet an angel,

They make you wanna’ die.

You’re so damn stupid,

Were you waiting on a miracle?

A change of heart?

Heartless, Hopeless, Helpless,

Is your God listening?

I couldn’t know someone could be so flawless, so damaging,

I couldn’t know someone could be so weightless, so detached,

I didn’t know I’d met a vampire:

They drain sanity.

You’re so damn naive,

Do you never learn?

Or do you refuse to?

Foolish, friendless, faithless,

Are you afraid to see?

I wish, I wish, I didn’t know someone so perfect,

So cold, so brutal, so f*****g hateful,

You don’t want to know an angel,

You don’t want to meet a vampire,

They make you wanna’ die as they drain your sanity.
