A Lovers Kiss

A Lovers Kiss

A Poem by Alicia Nicole

I can't forget the last kiss
Any easier then then the first
This is nothing of a poetic nature
This is nothing other then me missing a lovers kiss

I need you here with me now
I need to know the memories are real

Every thought turns into a deeper cut
Without a blade
Only my fear

Screams awaken me in the middle of the night
I wonder for long till I realize they are my own
Once inside sleeps gentle rocking my monster awakens
Sending chills down my spin as it envisions

Every key stroke leads me further into a vault full of yesterdays

I miss your kiss
I miss the way you fit perfectly in my arms
I miss the sound of your voice
The way your eyes gazed at mine made it feel like I was floating on thin air
The way your hands gently caressed my body
I am utterly in love
I have fallen to far

I miss the lovers kiss
