Crooked FeetA Poem by Life Inside Death
To run
Without a care Fall Into this ocean I breathe And start to die Yet I feel So alive... Running in circles Tripping and falling I declare Seems so much better Than taking the wrong road I've been around this world But I've found no answers Our impurities Bleed heartless rapture The ones who've followed me Have found themselves The ones who've followed me Can't seem to help. I've been so hopeless And I've lost the cure We try our best To even the score The ones who follow me Fall face first to the ground The ones who follow me Keep turning around... I feel you falling through Each of my fingers My grasp fails once again But your touch still lingers And I've seen it all My feet drag the ground My eyes are closed While I stumble around I feel like a cripple Without a crutch My senses fail I fall out of luck My friends have walked away I now walk alone My friends won't ever stay And I'm forever alone... © 2008 Life Inside DeathReviews
