Relax

A Poem by Honeypot

Take a deep breath.

Lean back and close your eyes.

Let your shoulders relax.

Slowly breathe in and breathe out.

Imagine you’re just waking up.

The morning light is peeking through the curtains.

A bird is chirping cheerfully outside the window.

You’re warm and comfortable in bed.

The cotton sheets are soft against your naked skin

And the clean smell invites you to snuggle deeper.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Your mind is free of stress.

Worry eases away with each exhalation;

your body is happy and content.

A smooth hand gently caresses your cheek.

Lips touch lips, sweet and fresh.

You recognize and welcome the familiar taste.

Breathe in, breathe out.

Arms draw you closer and

your heart hums softly with the knowledge

that you are completely wanted.

Relax…

Breathe in, breathe out.

This had me so relaxed I almost nodded off to dreamland. You expressed total calm and warmth creating a scene of two lovers wakening up to each others arms in the morning, drawing close, before making love. There is no better feeling on earth, than to be made feel....LOVED. Other than that...we just exist.
This was beautifully crafted by yourself here, sweet Honeypot.
Thank you

I loved the touch of meditation it was very soothingly written and the moments of just lying there and being held were a great touch. I just thought it all belended together well.

This is a devastating reminder that everyone around home is at the beach...and we're not. lol Well written and a good reminder to just take a step back and chill. :)

Oh, my dear Honeypot, this is so perfect. I was looking through your work and the picture looking out the window caught my eye once again.

Memorizing the bliss of want; anticipating the turning of desire.

Very pleasant indeed.

This is a beautiful piece. Sometimes we all get in that mode. You know the one where we forget we are wanted and loved. This was a perfect piece to show there is someone there that does. Excellent work

O quite lovely!

This has the elegant simplicity of meditation, with the bonus of implicit desire, like a hearty hearthfire added to the sensible equanimity of solitude.

The poem communicates the best of both worlds w/Zen-Tantric economy, happy alone, happy together.

These lines express the wisdom of purrrfect companionship simply, delightfully.
