I miss

I miss my old life,
I miss what I wanted to be,
I miss being happy,
I miss feeling free.
I miss having fun,
I miss all I wanted to see,
I miss the past
for life moves so fast,
but to sum it all up,
I just miss me.

Your poem is a true sadness, worded so very gently but clearly. That final phrase rings loneliness; a need to share with someone would surely help.. Its not always easy to find that 'special' friend however. Tis said to have a friend, one has to be one.. Your words prove you to be a special person.
