A Blue Rose

A Blue Rose

A Poem by House of Immite
"

Desiring the unattainable

"
The blue rose makes a scene
Shyly seducing my attention
Exploring existence amongst the green
Simple natural selection

A red rose's cheeks darken
Emotions stir inside my stem
Desire to touch the meadow's alien
An act likely the green to condemn

The scent of blossom stimulates
Plucks my sanity, petal by petal
Loves me - Loves me not castrates
Dismantled, on the ground I settle

Roots cease to demonstrate prudence
To pollinate I am powered
Degenerates the bloom of innocence
As the blue rose sustains deflowered
