Everyone should fight for love even if it's from one side

Many come and go while few stay

I want you to be that one 

the one that could make my tears go away 

or make me cry a river just by leaving with no trail

I’d take a chance on you rather than let it burn as hay

People said I lost my way

lost the path, went astray 

all because I liked you more than they

liked you in a way, not many can say

I believed a lie 

a lie that told me love is not in the eye

but how come can I read your mind

read your every thought through those indescribable heavenly eyes

I hope your every dream, every wish comes true

even when I know it’s not about me and you

that’s only a fraction of what I would do

A fraction meant to show you that me think of you 

I was told our worlds differ in so many ways

but I stayed true to me and told them to go screw it some other place.

Fighting with passion for a love that is 'one-sided' can leave the person in love in a very vulnerable position indeed in these times - open to more than ridicule !!
But Im with you in believing that 'faint heart never won fair lady' and we need to be steadfast and let her know and only then, if she spurns our advances, can we look ourselves in the mirror and say I tried with my all, to win her heart.'
