Prologue of Sure-ness

Kay chooses to rent an apartment, Apartment 123, but the land-owner keeps asking her if she's "sure" that she wants to go ahead with it.

"Excuse me? Mr. Hatori?"

She walked up to the front desk.

"Hmm?"

He looked up.

"Ah, I'm Kay Beatrix."

Confused.

"Who?"

More confused.

"Uh, I was the one interested in renting Apartment 123, and we were going to seal the deal today."

Remembrance.

"Oh, Kay! Yes I remember you! You were the one interested in renting Apartment 123!"

Reminding.

"Yeah, I just said that--"

Cut-off.

"Now where did I put that key?"

Mumbling.

"Okay..."

Found.

"Aha! Here it is..."

Silence.

"..."

Questioning.

"Are you sure you want to rent this apartment?"

Answering.

"Yup."

More ?

"Are you sure that you're sure?"

Nodding.

"Yes."

? ? ?

"Completely sure?"

Pause.

"...Yeah..."

Acceptance.

"Okay then! Here ya go!"

Takes key.

"Uh, thanks."

Smiles.

"You're very welcome Koy!"

Correction.

"It's--it's, uh, Kay, Mr. Hatori."

Wrong.

"Sure thing, Klay!"

Slumps.

" *sigh* "
