A Poem by Ice

Now, let mine be the only whisper in which you hear,
and let mine be the only beat that softens your blistering fingers.
You're listening to the music but you're not sure how it comes,
or from where.
They say that time shall teach you where to look,
but you find a peak of hope in a past's tempestuous longing
for someone you no longer see inside
as you look in the mirror,
though sometimes I size your brilliant eyes as out of reach,
but in truth, you're the only creature I'll ever see.
I'm flattering the stars with seconds from my tongue,
but dear,
I'm not as naive as the darkness of your skies.
Don't you see that your pain flaws me strand by strand?
I'm wrapping the crystals into a woven softness,
but in all honestly,
once you face the truth of your serenity,
That's where you'll find it.

I'm not sure I understand all of the lines (e.g. I'm flattering the stars with seconds from my tongue)
But, it wasn't as well written as the rest of your poems. There are a few minor adjustments to be made and a few problems with flow in places.

This is just perfect. You've wrap so many things into one poem that it's like a magic weave.. Excellent and a favorite..xx

i like this with the deep thought and the last stanza is brilliant and the last line says it all. Reflections are a truly amazing thing. They can tell us so much about ourselves.
