Never Let A Blue Bird Sing, If She Does Then Rip Off Her Wings.

Never Let A Blue Bird Sing, If She Does Then Rip Off Her Wings.

A Poem by trippy kitty

Never let a blue bird sing.
My mind is going blank and my blood
is going dry.
If she does then rip off her wings.
Her eyes red and mine are too.
Never let a blue bird sing.
We are crying because we both know
we will die.
If she does then rip off her wings.
With my knife stuck in her back
and her gun pointed to my head,
Never let a blue bird sing.
She trembles and shakes and tells me
everything.
If she does then rip off her wings.
She tells me her death and her life and
her savior.
Never let a blue bird sing.
But I don't listen and I let my blood
fly.
If she does then rip off her wings.
She screams and cries as I let the knife
pierce my own back.
Never let a blue bird sing.
I see blackness. Then a light. Then nothing.
If she does then rip off her wings.

A strong and direct poem. I like the repetition making the point of the poem real and strong. There is wisdom in the poem. Thank you for the amazing poetry.
