Black wings flutter and fly

The heart on its chest breaks

With every breath it takes to fly away

 

 

Blood falls from my wrist

As words I can’t speak

Fall from my arms mix with blood like silent tears

As fast as the butterfly flies

My soul cries

But no one can hear

I tried to lie but no one cares or can hear

The smile is just a phase

The pain fades away

Scars heal and fade

Forgive my sins as I was them away to forgotten flesh
