He Wasn't Another Doll

He Wasn't Another Doll

A Poem by In Remembrance

A saint stood before us all
But a saint isn't what you saw
He wasn't another doll
And you can't control life

He touched lives conflicted
But you were brainwashed
He didn't care if it was restricted
And you forgot about it all

He wasn't larger than you
You're just puppeteeres
You don't know what he knew
You feared the uncontrollable

He never said couldn't
You never said could
He shouldn't
You really should

A saint stood before us all
But a saint isn't what you saw
He wasn't another doll
And you can't control life

He touched lives conflicted
But you were brainwashed
He didn't care if it was restricted
And you forgot about it all

He was a hero
You branded him villain
But I know
He was were you should

He was here for all
You're gone again
He was more than a doll
You were scared

A saint stood before us all
But a saint isn't what you saw
He wasn't another doll
And you can't control life

Author's Note

In Remembrance
This is dedicated to the real hero, Dracula. In his strife I relive... In his memory I am... And his philosophy is why I am.

For some inexplicable reason I am drawn to your
poem and to your hero and your life.
If I had the words I would write as you have, words
from deep in the heart, exposing a true soul .
Thank you,
----- Eagle Cruagh

About
In remembrance I exist. You see, poetry is a beautiful, delicate art. I remember one poet, he was great, but no one ever payed him any attention... Only I seem to remember him. All he loved, or calle.. more..
